Linda Marsella, Kent, is looking for Personnel who worked at Parkwood Hall
Additional
Info:- I wonder if you could help with some history of our school building and grounds.
In July we are hosting a garden party and would like to showcase the history of Parkwood
Hall.
Parkwood was opened in 1893 as a convalescent home but was closed in 1963.
The building was purchased by the LCC for the London Fire Brigade and after some
major alterations Parkwood was opened as a Fireman’s training centre in 1964. Due
to high costs the last fireman left in 1968.
We are looking for pictures, videos,
paperwork, etc to show. I really hope there is something you can do to help make
our day special. It would also be great if someone who did train here during that
time would be interested in joining us for our garden party.
